Bommalata is Telugu film dubbed from Tamil flick 'Aval Peyar Tamilarasi'. Aval Peyar Tamilarasi is a rare kind of a love story set in a village. The boy here is Jai while the girl is debutante Nandhagi. They both fall in love, but doubts and insecurities creep in when the girl is all set to leave her village to pursue higher education. What happens to their love story, how does the boy react to the imminent separation is the story behind this. The film is direced by Meera Kathiravan and Produced by P. Doreswamy. The music is scored by Vijay Antony.
