The movie Robo is a science fiction. Rajnikanth and Aishwariya Rai are playing opposite to each other. In Hindi and Tamil the name is given as 'Enthiran- The Robot" Rajinikanth plays dual roles in �Robo. One is of a scientist as "Vaseegaran" and the other of a Robot called "Chitti". As a scientist Rajini creates an "Android Man" with artificial intelligence – like that of sixth sense in humans – which looks exactly like him and behaves too like a human to help mankind. But the Robot later acquires more human characters. He through a technical process upgrades itself and becomes almost similar to a human. It falls in love with Aishwarya Rai and writes romantic poems besides doing many other things. Coming to know about the extra ordinary intelligence of the Robot, the villains lead by Danny Denzongpa try to get control of the Robot. Scientist Rajini then fights to save the Robot from falling into the hands of the enemies and destroys the evil forces using the Robot itself. The movie is under the banner of Ayngaran International Films Pvt Ltd. and Eros International. However, in Andhra Pradesh, the movie will be screened under the banner of Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara Films.
