Kakinada, Mar 16^th: The date for the polls were announced by the election authorities and many public meetings and road shows were expected to be conducted by the political representatives for the publicity of their respective parties. To keep an eye on these political meetings and rallies, the authorities are planning to arrange video coverage for all the meetings that will be conducted in the district. In this concern a review meeting was organized by East Godavari district collector, Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwevedi at local zilla parishat meeting hall on Monday. Returning and special poll officers attended the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, collector ordered the officers to arrange video coverage for all the meeting that will take place during the time of elections. He believes that with this arrangement, unnecessary disturbances can be avoided to a greater extent. Joint collector, Kona Sasidhar reviewed the arrangement of strong rooms. He asked the officers to see that no water leakage problem arises in any of the strong rooms that were arranged for storing Electronic Voting Machines (EVM). RDO’s Kishore Kumar, Lavanyaveni, Nataraj, Vinay Mohan, Returning officers and housing board officers attended the meeting.
