The main reason for power cuts is due to BY ELECTION. For the purpose of election campaign held in some constituencies of our district they are supplying 24 hour current there. Inorder to supply full current in those areas they are taking power from the areas where the by election is not held. I think this is the main reason for power crisis. But there is also a need for our city to be developed in alternate resources.

I am working in shipping company. I need to work particular timings in office and some another timings in ship. When I am working office I don't have power to use my system and give a report my superior. Work was delaying.. this is my problem. But normal people will suffering very horrible. In summer all are mostly drink cool items. How the juice shop & ice cream parlor will run without power & their business is suffering. In hospitals how the patients will suffer with out power. Even the hospitals are not working properly, small clinics are not even opening, Poor & Middle Class people will not go for multi specialty hospitals?. Lack of Government Planning. My suggestion to Government to make a pamphlet and distribute to every user along with the power bill on "how to use power" and also do some awareness programs to make people aware about power usage. Also every individual need to take precautions on power usage. it will not happen with one, so every one should take care about it @Murthy

I go for second option, its is just because of Lack of Govt. planning. I would like to share an agitation raised by YSR Congress party at Rajahmundry yesterday. They submitted a appeal letter to higher officers to give power cut for maxmim 4 hours only. Atleast with this they should react possibly. Uneven power cuts in irregular times is not tolerated. While many other countries like Singapore which do not have rivers have no power cut problem, why do we have regular power cuts? Despite of having rivers and many other resources we have power cuts. Our Govt is fit for nothing. Yes I agree, they should be power cut to save some power from future, but don't they have minimum responsibility to announce the timings before. What is the position of the patient in operation theater if generator also failed after power cut? State like Tamil Nadu which do not have enough resources like us is in good condition today. There is not such horrible situation as we are having, Out Government is at very bad stage and its shame to to in a State and under their ruling. Excess power usage is not at the reason for this, major cities also have excess power usage but there government is planning properly there. As our city is also developing it is quite common that most of the residence have Air conditioners. That has become the minimum requirement and no other option for public. Its is due to lack of awareness on solar products. Department must take care of this. Quality current is not provided despite paying electricity bills with high unit rates. Regular power cuts and low voltage. Every year it is repeated and increased but not recovering from this problem. If separate meters are arranged for heavy load appliances like Air condition. They can have a limit of power usage. By this, power can be supplied to middle class families sufficiently. I do not want to pull out who is responsible for this power cut. The thing is why are they not intimating us before?? Atleast take 5-6 hours power cut all the way continously and not more throughout the day...but not like this taking partially every alternative hour. We always think..NOT AGAIN!! Don't these people have time punctuality. Lack of sleep whole night and waking up late to college/office. At the time of getting ready to college/office also there is power cut again. The resources have not fully utilised. No future planning. Demand and Supply is correctly estimated. Every year we are facing the same but there are no proper steps taken by the Government.

Children are being admitted into hospitals due to the sun stroke already and now due to this power cut my family members were falling sick. I Think that only one reason is increased power usage only the power crisis, i don't like to blame the government... people need to reduce the power usage... unnecessary usage will effecting .
